Our Exec team had the privilege to share our 2025 theme with our school community. This theme creates a vision for the year ahead and is used as a guiding focus for our community. IMPACT is our theme for 2025 supported by our slogan “Take the Dive, Start the Ripple”. It reminds us that every action, no matter how big or small, has the power to create positive change. Whether it's showing kindness, stepping up for a challenge or supporting a peer, each of us has the ability to make a difference in our school and beyond. Leaning into the concept of the ripple effect and how our actions have the power to create a chain of positivity.

Our 2025 school song and dance was also revealed, being an olshified Bondi rescue theme song!

We can't wait to see where the theme takes our community this year and the impact it creates!

Sportsmanship, energy and determination was on full display during our swimming carnival last week. It was fantastic to see everyone cheering and embracing the day, making unforgettable memories. The Year 12s came decked out with their house coloured costumes, celebrating their last swimming carnival. Whether students were throwing bean bags at the lawn games, swimming in butterfly or participating in water aerobics, they all did an amazing job and should be really proud of their efforts and contribution to their house!

Last week also marked the beginning of our season of Lent, leading up to Easter. The leaders came to school bright and early on Tuesday morning to cook our pancakes for Shrove Tuesday, which were a hit, kicking off our Lenten appeal initiatives, with all proceeds going to those in need. This was followed by our liturgy for Ash Wednesday, where we took time to reflect on all our blessings and give thanks for all God has given us.

In the upcoming weeks of lent we have our Lenten appeal fundraisers, where each house is in charge of a different initiatives! Each of these initiatives allows us to live out the true meaning of Lent, reflecting, giving, and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

We encourage everyone to get involved and embrace this season of reflection and action. By stepping up, reaching out, and leading with kindness as we continue to build a school community where impact is not just a theme but a way of life. Let’s take the dive and start the ripple together!
