Governance and policies

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College Bentleigh was incorporated on April 30, 1979. It is registered as a public company limited by guarantee.

The Trustees of the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart are the Members of the Company and have appointed a Board of Directors.

The College Board is strongly committed to the mission of the Church through catholic education. They are entrusted with the privileged role of preserving and nurturing the OLSH founding charism and promoting the mission of the College as a catholic school.

The Board is responsible for the overall direction of the College. It is supported in its work by the following sub-committees which meet on a regular basis:

  • Finance, Audit and Risk
  • Building and Facilities Development
  • Policy and Governance

The Principal of the College is the Chief Executive Officer who has responsibility for the day-to-day management of the College and its enterprises.

The current Chair of the Board is Ms Sandra Diafas. Board Directors are:

Annual Report

The College publishes an Annual Report, to provide an overview of the year's activities and achievements and to meet our state and federal government reporting obligations.
