We were thrilled to see more than 120 parents at our Parent Welcome Night last week. It was a great opportunity for parents to get to know each other and to meet some of our staff. The parents were entertained by Charli and Tilda who performed an item from Peter Pan and our Student Ambassadors did a great job welcoming guests and answering questions in an informal Q&A session.
It is always a joy to have parents onsite at the College and we welcome you to join us at any of our masses. Other parent events include the Mother's Day Breakfast (Thursday 8 May) and Father's Day Breakfast (Thursday 4 September) - more details will be shared in the coming months.
Our next Open Morning for 2025 will be held on Tuesday 13 May, from 9.15am. This is an opportunity for families to hear from our Principal and students, meet our staff and tour the College with our Student Ambassadors.
You can register for this event via our Open Mornings and Tours page. The schedule of Open Mornings and College Tours for the year is also on this page.
We are currently taking applications for Year 7 2027 and there are also places available for most year levels in 2026. Private tours of the College can also be arranged for anyone who is unable the scheduled Open Mornings and College Tours. Please contact registrar@olsh.vic.edu.au to request a tour.
The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund helps ensure that no student will miss out on the opportunity to join their classmates for important, educational and fun activities. School camps provide children with inspiring experiences in the great outdoors. Excursions encourage a deeper understanding of how the world works while sports teach teamwork, discipline and leadership. All are a part of a healthy curriculum.
CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.
If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families.
