As we begin this new school year, we embrace it with a sense of newness—new classes, new teachers, new hopes, new dreams, and new goals. We remind ourselves that what truly matters is what we do now; the past is behind us.
Already, the year has been filled with new experiences and lasting memories. Our Year 12 students celebrated their long-awaited formal and were welcomed back to Hartzer Park for their retreat. Year 7s navigated the transition from primary school and bonded at Lake Dewar on camp. Issoudun students embarked on their journey as their program groups were announced. The entire school community came together for the Opening School Mass, and school photos were captured to mark the start of the year. Across the school, our student leaders embodied the spirit of kindness on Valentine’s Day, leaving heartfelt messages on every locker, reminding us of all what it means to be Heart People.
In all this newness, relationships are formed, connections strengthened, and friendships deepened—laying the foundation for another meaningful year ahead. May we continue to embrace each new experience this year brings with a sense of enthusiasm and a heart of openness!
Stand-up paddleboarding, geocaching, kick biking, kayaking, the dual flying fox, gorge walking, raft building, and jetty jumping—these were just some of the exciting activities our Year 7s experienced during their recent camp. What an incredible group of students! They embraced the challenge of being away from home, stepped out of their comfort zones, and pushed themselves in every activity.
Beyond the adventure, they formed new connections and showcased their House spirit in the lively chant competition. Congratulations to Year 7 Sweeney for bringing home the points!

Parenting is a learning journey and SchoolTV supports families by providing credible information from trusted sources with practical strategies to help alleviate some of the challenges being faced by young people today.
Watch video interviews with leading wellbeing specialists and browse a library of resources. Each topic is accompanied by factsheets, podcasts, books, articles, apps and other videos.
This award-winning resource helps families build relationships, foster connections, enable understanding and break down barriers to navigate a pathway towards better mental health and wellbeing for young people. It will assist you in starting those conversations on topics that can sometimes be awkward or difficult to tackle.
Parents and caregivers are the greatest influence on a young person's life and SchoolTV focuses on empowering confident parenting.
Raising girls in today’s modern world can be a difficult path for parents and carers to navigate.
In this edition of SchoolTV, adult carers will attain a clearer picture of what girls are wanting from their adult carers and how best to support them through adolescence.
We hope you take time to reflect on the information offered in this edition of SchoolTV and we always welcome your feedback. If you have any concerns about your child, please make contact with the College or seek medical or professional help.
