Welcome Evening

We would love you to join us for a Welcome Evening for all OLSH College parents and caregivers, on Thursday 13 March from 5.30 to 7pm. It is a wonderful opportunity for you to meet other parents and staff, and visit the College grounds. Please note this is not a student event.

The event will be held on our café deck and St Joseph's garden (entry via Robert Street or Jasper Road). If it is raining, the event will be held indoors in the OLSH Centre.

Please complete this short registration form. We look forward to seeing you there.

Camps and excursions fund

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund helps ensure that no student will miss out on the opportunity to join their classmates for important, educational and fun activities. It is part of making Victoria the Education State and the Government’s commitment to breaking the link between a student’s background and their outcomes.

School camps provide children with inspiring experiences in the great outdoors. Excursions encourage a deeper understanding of how the world works while sports teach teamwork, discipline and leadership. All are a part of a healthy curriculum.

CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.

If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families. The allowance is paid to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions or sporting activities for the benefit of your child.

The annual CSEF amount per student is:

  • $154 for primary school students
  • $256 for secondary school students

How to apply
If you are a new CSEF applicant, please download this form, complete it and return to the OLSH Office, either in hardcopy or to office@olsh.vic.edu.au.
