Taking the time to prepare for Term 4

Term 3 has flown by, and we've had an incredibly successful and action-packed time together. For our Unit 4 students, the upcoming break is a crucial time to settle into focused study as they prepare for the VCAA exams. These exams are the culmination of years of hard work, offering a chance to demonstrate the breadth of your learning. Our Year 11 students taking accelerated subjects will also be using this break to prepare.

For our junior students, this break should be a time to rest and recharge after a busy Term 3.

As we look ahead to Term 4, it's important to reflect on your goals. With Term 4 being shorter, it's an opportunity to build on the foundation you've already laid. When setting your goals, think back to what you aimed to achieve after receiving your Semester reports. Most importantly, return with a clear mind and a refreshed perspective, ready to make the most of the final term.

Congratulations to Year 7 student Bridie and Year 8 student Lola who entered our Science Week poster competition. The theme was 'endangered species' and the students had to research their species and present the content in an informative and engaging way. Bridie chose Hawksbill Turtles and Lola chose Eastern Quolls. Their effort in creating informative posters that dynamic impact was most impressive.

Well done on letting your bright OLSH spirits shine brightly as you show care for all creatures on Earth.
