Great results at SEGAP

Last week Issoudun and Year 10 students competed in the SEGAP Sport competition against Kilbreda, Killester and Sacred Heart Girls colleges at Monash University.

The Badminton team worked hard to improve their skills against strong opposition we are very proud of their efforts!

Basketball A and Basketball B teams both lost by small margins (4 points and 1 point, respectively) in their semi finals, so were unlucky not to make the Grand Final. All players showed enthusiasm, determination and teamwork to play so well!

Futsal A and B were both successful in their semi finals so had exciting Grand Finals to play. Futsal were defeated 1-0, just missing a goal in the last minute. Futsal B won the trophy with great teamwork through the day. We look forward to seeing their progress at the CGSAV competition next term!

Congratulations to Philomena and Kasey (Badminton), Lucy and Lucy (Basketball) and Milena and Nyah (Futasal) who won Most Valuable Players of the day.

Thanks to staff coaches Mr Bourke, Mr Thorp and Ms Symes and student coaches Olivia, Erica, Chloe, Mia, Charli, Ava, Meg and Keiva, and AJ for running the administration for the basketball competition.

We followed Year 7 student Taylor's journey at the Little League Baseball National Championships in Lismore recently. Here is Taylor with her Silver medal. Well done Taylor!
