Jules Chevalier msc was graced with the deep realisation of the love of the Heart of Jesus for all people. We use the words ‘God’s unconditional love’ for us in an effort to describe this love. Of course there are really no words that aptly explain the love of God for each human being. St Paul in his letter to the Romans describes it this way…

For I am certain of this: neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nothing already in existence and nothing still to come, nor any power, nor the heights nor the depths, nor any created thing whatever, will be able to come between us and the love of God, known to us in Christ Jesus our Lord. (8:39)

Today is the Feast of the Sacred Heart – this feast day is all about love. Each of us who are members of this great family of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College strive to be Heart people – reflections of God’s love in our world today. It is our blessing to have been embraced by a spirituality that is all Heart.
