As the year comes to a close, we are grateful for the incredible success we’ve had in both teaching and learning. For our Year 12 students, their recent results mark a significant milestone, but this achievement is just one step in their journey. Their journey didn’t end this week—it is the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. We hope that our junior students look to their senior peers as examples of the effort and commitment required to succeed.
When we announced the Year 12 results to our teaching staff, we reflected on the years of organisation, hard work, and determination that helped these students thrive throughout their senior school years.
In the Parent Portal, you will find the Semester 2 reports for 2024. These reports will serve as a great starting point for conversations about the past year and a reflection on how we can approach 2025. As we prepare for the next school year, we encourage you to get your resources early, read your English novel, and return with a renewed sense of purpose, ready to begin the year afresh. A very holy and happy Christmas to you all.
Mr Joshua Di Pietro
Deputy Principal Learning and Teaching
Our Regnet Christus Day recognises and celebrates the achievements of students across all year levels who have achieved excellence, displayed consistent application to their work, lived our OLSH pillars and provided service to our community. We are grateful to our staff who have guided students to achieve these wonderful results and to our OLSH families for their continued support.
On Regnet Christus Day, we continued our celebration of what has been a very special and historic year – the 150th anniversary of the OLSH Sisters and the 200th anniversary of Jules Chevalier, the founder of the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. As we reflected on the significance of this year, we were reminded that we are all part of the OLSH story, which is a story founded on love and comes from the very heart of God. The achievements and service of those we recognised, reflect the pillars of the OLSH spirit and creates another chapter of our OLSH story.
