Our language students were treated to a book launch today that had everyone intrigued and hungry by the end! Year 10 student Indi wrote an Italian Children’s book called Le avventure di Cannoli (The Adventures of Cannoli the dachshund), telling the story of a food-loving dachshund and his adventures in Rome. It was a beautifully illustrated book and Indi read the book to a captivated audience. Indi told us the book took around a month to write, edit and illustrate and her inspiration was her cousin’s dachshund, Cannoli. Well done Indi, we can’t wait to see your next book!

Issoudun Sport Science students visited PhysiPro Athletic Seaford as part of their sport injury unit. They had an insight into what its like to be a physio and tested out screening equipment and recovery tools, including the ice bath, compression boots and sauna.
