Kickstart begins

As senior exams conclude this week, we now fix our eyes on 2025 - Kickstart. With our VCE students starting their full programs and getting prepared for their holiday work, this is a great time to start thinking about our learning processes. A great way for families to work together in this task is to think about the following questions related to learning:

  • What healthy habits supported my learning this year?
  • What habits do I need to let go of in 2025 to create better learning opportunities?
  • How will I keep myself accountable to my new learning goals.

As we roll into the new year levels during the Kickstart, it is also a new opportunity to build different supports. Talk to new groups and sit at different tables in your classes and see if you can learn about new people.

Made in Italy

Our Year 11 students completed a research and a spoken presentation on an aspect of culture within communities where Italian is spoken.

When you buy a Made in Italy product, you are guaranteed something exceptional, something that has been subjected to rigid quality controls during the entire production process. Buying Made in Italy protects the passions, traditions and the quality of many well-known brands such as Prada, Vespa, and Gucci and Bialetti. As the founder of Gucci said ' La qualita` si ricorda a lungo, il prezzo si dimentica' The quality is remembered for a long time, the price is forgotten.”
