Our 2025 Year 7s joined us for their Orientation Day earlier this week. It was wonderful to meet them and spend the day showing them around the College. They completed a series of classroom and outdoor activities, then came together for lunch and group activities with our student leaders. Our current students were a great help, leading and assisting with activities and answering questions from our new students.
We are looking forward to seeing them all for their first day of Year 7 next year.
We have welcomed back two OLSH College alumnae groups this term - the Class of 1984 for their 40 year reunion and the Class of 2004 for their 20 year reunion. Both were lovely evenings of reconnection and sharing stories of their time at the College and their life stories over the decades since their time as students.
For the Class of 1984, it was particularly special for them to step into the Hall that they had raised funds for through walkathons. We’re grateful for the insight and generosity of those who planned and supported the expansion of the College for so many decades of students to continue to enjoy.
The Class of 2004 alumnae were students at the College during a significant building project which included the current library, science laboratories, the walkway between buildings and a Year 12 Common Room. The group enjoyed revisiting these spaces and reminiscing about their time at the College.
Keep an eye on our Reunions page for 2025 reunion dates.
