Futsal team on the pitch again

Last Friday the OLSH Futsal team were invited to the Football Victoria Futsal Competition for the first time. Earlier in the year, the team won the SEGAP tournament and came a tight second place at the SCSA Futsal day. Our team was made up of eight OLSH girls, from years 9 and 10 who had done one or both of the past tournaments - Ava Caon, Lucille Moses, Polliana Jurado, Emily Ashman, Tia Gritzalis, Milly Simois, Mia Lafasanidis and Ciara Bruce. 

The team represented OLSH greatly throughout the day, even though they did not win a game unfortunately. They played well together as a team and we hope to see more OLSH girls take up this experience in the years ahead.

SEGAP Sport: Juniors

Congratulations to all students who represented OLSH in the afternoon sport competition this term. The teams played Futsal, Basketball and Badminton against Killester, SHGC and Kilbreda colleges at Monash Uni sports Complex. Students improved their on-court and teamwork skills, whilst being active and competitive, and having fun. The Grand Finals were very exciting!

• Basketball A: 1st
• Basketball B: 1st
• Badminton: 2nd
• Futsal: 3rd
