OUR 2023 JUNIOR PRODUCTION 2023: Holes

This year we are participating in another combined junior production with St Bede’s College. The 2023 Junior Production is Holes by Louis Sachar.

Holes is the story of Stanley Yelnats, a boy who is sent to Camp Green Lake, a juvenile detention centre, where is he forced to dig holes every day. As Stanley and his fellow inmates uncover the truth about the camp and its history, they begin to realise there may be more to their punishment than they ever imagined.

OLSH Students from Year 7 and 8 auditioned last week for this production and we saw an amazing breadth of talent. Thankyou to everyone who auditioned.

Performances will take place on the 19^th & 20^th October 2023 (Term 4, Week 3).

COMING SOON...AGATHA REX

Rehearsals are well underway for our 2023 Senior Play with De La Salle College- Agatha Rex.

Agatha Rex is a modern adaptation of the Greek tragedy Antigone by Sophocles and places the female lead, Agatha, in a high school motivated to defend a student who is unfairly punished. Set in a modern-day high school, the play translates the original Greek chorus into a fantastic ensemble opportunity.

Year 10, 11 and 12 students from De La Salle and OLSH colleges are busy rehearsing every Tuesday to present this play together and we can’t wait for it to hit the stage.

Performance dates are the 29^th & 29^th of August 2023.
