There is no doubt the College is a better place when students are in attendance. Being at school creates connectedness, enhances wellbeing and learning takes place. As stated in the School is Better when your Child is Here newsletter insert created by the Melbourne Archdiocese of Catholic Schools (MACS), there are no safe number of days a student can be absent from school. Each day a student misses school or is late affects learning, wellbeing and has an impact on connectedness.
The article outlines the healthy habits that can assist in getting to school each and day and on time.
You can read the full MACS article here.
If you are concerned about your daughter’s attendance, please reach out to your daughter’s Learning Mentor, Head of House or any other member of the Wellbeing Team.

We wish you well in your roles.
Our Year 10s enjoyed three days of chilly but bright conditions at their camp at Lake Dewar last month. Activities included a hike, camping overnight in tents, and the Great Race Challenge featuring a series of activities including archery, rafting, kayaking and go-karting.
At night, they rugged up for some outdoor cooking, followed by marshmallow toasting and singing around the campfire.
