Dear Family and Friends of OLSH College,

This Newsletter is filled with good news stories of our students and staff. To be part of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College Bentleigh, is to engage in every aspect of learning and life. We have so much to be grateful for with the students, staff, parents, Board directors, alumnae and OLSH Sisters so invested in the Spirit that is who we are – the Spirit of kindness and compassion, the Spirit of enthusiasm and friendship, the Spirit of commitment and courage and the Spirit of openness of Heart and faithfulness.

God is not far from each one of us...
For in God we live and move and have our being...
Acts 17:28

With 17 days to go until our Issoudun XI students begin their Hartzer Campus and Nous Sommes journey, we hold them and their families in our Heart prayers.

Issoudun...
where the heart is captured!
A journey of transformation
a time of inspiration, challenge, vision, courage and risk
for others, and with others.
Issoudun...
where the heart is captured!

In celebrating women, and Mother’s Day, we hold on to the precious gift of love that nourishes us on our journey. The celebration of our Mother’s Day breakfast was a joy-filled time for mothers and daughters and some grandmothers too! With appreciation to all students and family members who joined us for this occasion.

The Uluru Statement from the Heart and the upcoming Voice to Parliament referendum are so much a part of the fabric of our OLSH College Spirit. We are Heart people who are called to open our hearts to all. In a particular way our students and staff in the FIRE Carrier committee are witnessing to this in attending the upcoming “Long Walk” to the MCG on May 20. All members of our community are welcome to join us.
