Our renovation project is well underway and we're pleased to share with you an update on the work.
The Hall refurbishment commenced in mid-March with the demolition of the Hall and PAC toilets, knocking through the wall and roof between the Hall foyer and the PAC foyer and the redirection of some essential services between the two buildings.
In late March, we saw the demolition of the drama room, the old change room and toilet and the music rooms.
Last week, we have seen some construction occur in the drama and music rooms, with works for the new toilets to commence week commencing this week and the joining of the two foyers not long after that.
The update to the Food Tech area will commence at the end of the term, along with a repaint of the hall walls and ceiling.
Our scheduled completion date is November 4, and we're hoping to be using most spaces before this date.
We had more than 200 mothers, grandmothers and students join us for breakfast this morning in the lead up to Mother's Day on Sunday.
It was lovely to be able to celebrate our mothers, grandmothers and caregivers and recognise with gratitude all that they do and have done for us. We also remembered those whose mothers and grandmothers are no longer with us and will think of them especially this weekend.
Thank you to the craft club who made beautiful lavender bags and to Alexandra Clark and her mother for making and donating exquisite cookies for each mother and grandmother to take home.
