Ametur Trip 2026: European Performing Arts and Cultural Tour

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College is thrilled to announce plans for a Performing Arts and Culture Tour of Europe in September 2026, available to students from Issoudun (Year 9) through to Year 12 in 2026.

This once-in-a-lifetime journey will immerse students in the culture, history, and performing arts of Italy, London, Paris, and Issoudun – the birthplace of the OLSH story.

We are excited to invite parents and students to an Information Evening: Monday, October 20th at 5pm in the OLSH Performing Arts Centre

Tour highlights include:

• Exploring the Colosseum, Vatican City, and Sistine Chapel in Rome
• A farm stay in Tuscany/Umbria with hands-on cooking and Italian language experiences
• Immersing in London’s theatre scene with West End workshops, dance classes, and live shows
• Discovering landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Shakespeare’s Globe, and St. Paul’s Cathedral
• Experiencing the magic of Paris, with visits to the Louvre, Versailles, and a Seine River cruise
• Visiting Issoudun, where the OLSH tradition began, connecting our students to the heart of our shared history

This tour promises to be an unforgettable experience, combining performing arts enrichment, cultural discovery, and personal growth, while deepening our connection to the OLSH heritage.

Announcing our 2026 Musical

We are beyond excited to announce the 2026 OLSH and De La Salle senior musical: SEUSSICAL!

This is no ordinary show – it’s a wild, colourful, music-filled adventure where Dr. Seuss’s most iconic characters leap off the page and onto the stage. From Horton the Elephant to the mischievous Cat in the Hat, it’s a story of friendship, courage, imagination, and believing in yourself – all wrapped up in one spectacular celebration.

With its high-energy songs, hilarious moments, and heartwarming storylines, Seussical has something for everyone – whether you’re a singer, dancer, actor, or all three. This is set to be one of our biggest and most exciting productions yet.
