Dear family and friends of OLSH College,

Each year the months of May and June bring a rich tapestry of experiences for students, staff, and the wider OLSH family. As we approach the midpoint of the school year and the end of Semester 1, deep learning remains our core focus. At the same time, the vibrancy of life at OLSH College shines through in our celebration of Sacred Heart of Jesus Feast Day, reminding us of God’s unconditional love for each one of us. We are guided by the words of our four pillars of OLSH education—Heart people who are faith-filled, reverence relationships, pursue excellence, and touch the hearts of others. These pillars inspire us, helping us become ever more aware of God’s great love all people. It is who we are, and how we are with each other that shares God’s love to the world – this is the essence of our great prayer May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be everywhere Loved!

To the students and staff embarking on the Issoudun XIII program at Hartzer Park Bowral next week, we wish you well on this incredible journey of learning and growth. Enthusiasm, curiosity, resilience, and loyalty will shape your experience. Like Jules Chevalier, who lived his story in Issoudun, may each of you discover the greatness within you, and, the world around you.

Issoudun Vision

Issoudun...where the heart is captured
a journey of transformation
a time of
inspiration

for others and with others
Issoudun...where the heart is captured

From the heart of Jesus pierced on Calvary,

I see a new world coming forth:

a great and life-giving world,

inspired by love and mercy…
