Leading with passion and heart

On Friday the 31st of May, we had our Sacred Heart Day. This day began with a lovely mass, followed by our long-awaited Performing Arts Spectacular! For the past month, each house has worked hard at preparing a 6-minute musical by incorporating different movies and characters, along with their house slogan, and a sneaky tribute to the 150 years of our beloved OLSH sisters.

This day not only highlights the many talents of our school community but more deeply reminds us of the sacrifices and teachings of Jesus. For us, as OLSH girls, we resonate with this Feast Day by giving back to our community, through thoughtful prayer; to those who need it most, and assisting those who are less fortunate during the winter season by donating warm clothes and blankets. This celebration of faith and generosity ignites our school's fire from within, to bring passion onto the stage during our house bandstand competition and talent quest.

As the senior executive team, our main goal for our school community is to step out of their comfort zones and lead with passion and heart. We understand that it takes a lot of courage to perform on stage, and we are extremely proud of the enthusiasm and commitment shown by our peers. It is through this day that we saw our school community flourish into independent and inspiring women. We look forward to seeing the legacy of participation continue to flourish in the years to come.
