Dear Family and Friends of OLSH College,

The experience of attending Opening Night of Mamma Mia at OLSH was truly amazing. Witnessing the culmination of talent displayed by the students of OLSH College and De La Salle College was an absolute delight. The energy, dedication, and exceptional skill exhibited by the entire cast, band and crew, was a wonderful example of teamwork, camaraderie and the pursuit of excellence.

Each student and staff member involved in the production are to be congratulated. I extend my gratitude to all involved. My sincere appreciation extends to all the students involved from both Colleges, as well as to the staff members whose guidance and support undoubtedly contributed to the success of the production.

Lifelong learning is a term that we use often in our classes and conversations in the world of secondary education. Our goal is to inspire our young people to grow an authentic passion for learning – always and everywhere. With our current Issoudun students now engaged in their 12 week program it is a strong reminder to each of us to encourage each other embrace new experiences, push ourselves to step outside our comfort zone and discover new ways of ‘doing’ and new ways of ‘being.’

Each of us, student and adult alike, must pursue this in the little and large experiences of life. To go where we might not know everything, to seek the wisdom of others and their life learnings and most importantly to listen deeply to the Spirit within us – this was the journey of the followers of Jesus after his resurrection… it can be our journey too…just take the first step.

God created the whole human race so that they should flourish.
So that all people would search for God,
and by feeling their way towards the Holy One,
succeed in finding God.
Yet in truth God is not far from any of us.
For in God we live, and move and exist…

Acts 17: 26-28

Always united in our shared OLSH Spirit.
