On Friday the 26th of May, we celebrated the Sacred Heart of Jesus Day. During Mass, students from each homeroom brought up many donations in the form of blankets, gloves and socks for our annual Winter Appeal. All donations were given to the St. Vinnies organisation who then distributed these items to those in need this winter. We are extremely grateful to have been able to give to those who may not have easy access to these necessities, and we hope that they feel more comfortable during these next few months.
Additionally, over the last few weeks, the Student Leaders have put in a lot of effort into our Performing Arts Spectacular! It was amazing to see everyone's hard work pay off with four amazing performances. A huge congratulations to the final winner which was Hartzer with their theme of Elmo in the UK. We also would like to thank all the teachers who helped support and encourage us throughout the whole process, as well as all the students for their enthusiasm and participation.

Favourite OLSH memory: I have so many lovely memories at OLSH as it has been such an amazing school to me. One of my favourites was when I was in Year 7 and for the College's 80th birthday celebration, we did a news broadcast opening the new hub, PAC, Chapel and OLSH Centre. I was the news presenter who opened the refurbished Chapel and it was such a big privilege - I felt very honoured.

What has your leadership role taught you: Leadership has taught me how to manage my time, how to be more organised and how to balance school, leadership and co-curriculum activities. It has helped me learn how to work with different girls in all year levels and how to work as a great team.

Favourite OLSH memory: My favourite memory was going to Sydney as part of our Year 12 Retreat.
