This week a group of Year 10 students from our OLSH Tech Crew were lucky enough to be a part of a backstage experience at Channel 9’s Millionaire Hotseat! They met and asked questions of the host, Eddie McGuire as well as other celebrity guest contestants including Dylan Alcott, Sam Stosur, Todd Woodbridge, Tony Jones, Dasha Saville and James Bracey. Unfortunately, they were unable to take any pictures inside the studio.
“We are so grateful to have been a
part of that experience. Being in the audience was so much fun!” - Eve Morphett
“Seeing all the things that go into
the production and filming of a show, was super insightful. It definitely
opened our eyes to the world of backstage productions!” - Frida Nolan
The OLSH Tech Crew will be comprised
of Issoudun and Year 10 students who be the ‘go to’ students for all OLSH’s shows, assemblies
and masses. Working together with Ms White, they will learn about everything
that goes into the set up, pack up, and running of school events!
Lessons and Ensembles have commenced in the Instrumental Music Department. We still have private lesson vacancies for violin, flute, clarinet, guitar, trumpet, trombone and voice.
