As the sporting year draws to a close, we recognised the achievements on the sporting field at the 2022 Sports Awards. The Awards acknowledged the 47 coaches, including staff, students, past student and parents, who have given up their time to run trials and training to ensure each team was well prepared for their day of competition, and the students who made the decision to commit to a team, train hard and compete fairly and in line with our OLSH spirit.
Individual and team sport competitors were recognised, as well as Rising Stars, Coaches and Junior, Intermediate and Senior Champions. The winners of these awards were based on the number and variety of sports students have participated in, as well as the individual awards they received.

It has been a big year of sport for OLSH College with students participating in 17 sports, resulting in wonderful individual and team results, great skill development and growth in our OLSH spirit.
Thank you to all who have represented the College and coached our teams this year and congratulations to all award winners.
Our Year 7s are building their beach safety skills, in readiness for the summer holidays. Recently, they participated in the Beach Safety Program run by Life Saving Victoria at Mordialloc beach, learning about rescues, CPR and identifying rips, and there was time for beach games too.
