2022 College Captains
On Friday the 9th of September, we celebrated our first in-person Feast of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Day since 2019 and the day was an outstanding success. With our theme, Mission Possible, students dressed up as inspirational role model in their lives. We enjoyed various foods, rides, carnival games and musical entertainment provided by students and sponsors. In particular, we would like to thank Mrs Logan for her extraordinary contribution towards the Feast of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart; her organisation and knowledge of large events made the day possible.
The contributions and generosity of all those at the College - both students and staff - allowed us to raise more than $21,000. All funds will be distributed to the OLSH Sisters missions in Angola, Africa and Papua New Guinea. Congratulations to all on such a memorable day and we particularly recognise the efforts of the leadership team in coordinating the event.
As the final days are drawing near for the Class of 2022, the Year 11s have been taking part in the Senior Leadership election process. We extend our congratulations to Halle Schroor, 2023 College Captain, Terri Wong, 2023 College Vice Captain, and Lily Hughes and
Aria Pisano, College Prefects. We also congratulate the newly elected House and Regnet Christus Captains for 2023. We are continually amazed by the efforts of all students elected and know well that they will truly foster the OLSH spirit in their time of senior leadership at the College.
As this is the last article from the 2022 Senior Executive Team, we wish to say a special thank you to our 2022 leadership team. To the student leaders in Years 7 to 12, your efforts to light an eternal flame in our school community and spirit after the pandemic has created a loving environment that embodies the OLSH spirit. We thank you for your teamwork and enthusiasm throughout this year and wish you well for what is to come.
