Enrolment overview

We are committed to providing exceptional educational opportunities for young women, informed by the intrinsic values of the OLSH tradition. This tradition encourages a commitment to excellence and wholeness of life for self and others.
We encourage families who are seeking Catholic education in this tradition to apply for enrolment and as a non-selective school, we welcome students of all traditions and faith. Places are offered at all year levels and applications are accepted from as early as the birth of the child.

Enrolment for Years 8 to 12

We welcome enrolments for students at all year levels. We encourage you to come to an Open Morning or private tour of the school and will then arrange a time for an interview with the student and family.

Enrolment process

Applications for enrolment can be submitted online using the form below and submitting the completed form via email to registrar@olsh.vic.edu.au. You can can also submit a hardcopy application. Forms are available from our office at the College or you can email our Registrar and request a hardcopy to be sent to you.

As part of your application, you will be asked to provide a number of documents including a copy of the student’s birth certificate, and where applicable, a copy of the student’s most recent school report, Naplan results and birth certificate. If you are waiting on Naplan results, please submit your application without them and supply the results when you have them.

A non-refundable Enrolment Application Fee of $100 is required with the application.

After submitting your application form, you will be asked to attend an interview with our Deputy Principal Wellbeing and the relevant Head of House. The interview is fairly informal with objective of getting to know the student, their interests, learning style and any learning needs.

If the student is accepted, a Letter of Offer and College Agreements (for both the parents and the student) will be issued. The acceptance of enrolment includes signed College Agreements and Digital Technology and Software Policies, and payment of the Enrolment Fee and School Bond.

Open Mornings

Our Open Mornings are a great opportunity for you to come and see the school in action and meet our current students and staff. Parents and prospective students are welcomed at Open Mornings.

Each Open Morning starts with a short presentation in our Performing Arts Centre and then our Student Ambassadors take you on a tour of the school. We conclude the Open Morning with morning tea in the OLSH Centre, where you can ask questions of our leadership team and members of the teaching staff.
