Congratulations to Y12 student Fernanda and Y11 student Keeley who were recognised for breaking records in athletics and swimming respectively. Fernanda set a new shot put record for OLSH of 11.83m, which is also a new Catholic Girls Sports Association of Victoria record. Keeley set a new OLSH 50m breaststroke record of 35.34 seconds.
Year 7 student Nina and Year 11 student Keeley competed in the Life Saving Victoria State Championships recently, winning nine medals between them. They competed in events including manikin tow, obstacles and line throw. All events in pool lifesaving are stimulating possible, real life rescues we would do as lifesavers.

Congratulations to Year 11 student Luella who has been selected for the Vic Metro team in the AFLW Under 18 Championships. The team have played two matches, defeating Queensland at the GMHBA stadium in Geelong and winning in Perth against the WA team. Their final match of the Championship is on July 11 in Dingley against South Australia.
